What You Need to Know

Find quick answers to the most common questions about our auto glass services.

If the damage is small—like a chip or short crack—repair is usually enough. Larger cracks or
damage in the driver’s line of sight typically encourage a full replacement, but can sometimes be
repaired.
A stress crack (without an impact point) is usually evidence of a deeper issue in the structure of
the glass and cannot be repaired.

Most repairs take 20–30 minutes, depending on the size and location of the damage. A
standard chip repair usually takes about 15-20 minutes, whereas multiple chips on the same
vehicle may increase that time.
A long crack repair usually takes between 45-75 minutes to complete.
